Ewa Krzaklewska, PhD, is a sociologist, and works as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Her research interests relate to youth sociology, mobility and migrantion, as well as to gender equality and family studies. She is also involved in policy making in particular in relation to gender equality and youth policy. She participated in several projects related to gender equality including: GEQ. Gender Equality and Quality of Life. How gender equality can contribute to development in Europe. A study of Poland and Norway (2013-16, Norwegian grants), GENERA. Gender Equality Network in European Research Area (2016-18, Horizon 2020) and ACT – Communities of Practice for Accelerating Gender Equality and Institutional Change in Research and Innovation across Europe (2018-2020, Horizon, as coordinator). She coordinates at national level INSPIRE Centre of Excellence on Inclusive Gender Equality in Research & Innovation: Creating Knowledge & Engaging in Collaborative Act” (2022-2026, Horizon Europe).
